We will begin the day selling one of Nebraska's
top collections of antique dolls, dollhouses,
miniatures and tin toys. Also included in the
auction will be a variety of antique Holiday
items, oak furniture, and other antiques.
Doll, toy, and
quality antique collectors will enjoy
the quality and the quantity of fine items
on our September 13 event. As is our
custom, there will be NO live internet
bidding. Our goal will be to sell every
item to a bidder present at the auction
site. Never a buyer's premium for onsight
bidders.
We will accept absentee bids prior
to the auction by phone or email. Absentee
bidders, only if successful, will pay a 10%
handling charge.
This entire collection comes
from a smoke free home!
Dolls will include
quality examples of German bisque: Kestner,
Steiner, AM, Kammer and Reinhardt, Simon and
Halbig, Heinrick Handwerck, and other famous
German makers. Also included are quality
half dolls, character faces, celluloid,
composition, and a variety of googly eyed
dolls. There will be excellent examples
from Cameo Doll Company, Schoenhut, Norah
Wellings, Martha Chase, Terri Lee, Horsman,
Ideal, and other famous makers. A variety
of theme dolls will include Girl Scouts,
Native dolls by Skookum, and much more.
Doll related will
include a variety of doll furniture,
children's and doll dishes, child's
depression glass sets in original factory
boxes, Play Time dish sets in original
boxes, Akro Agate in original boxes, tea
sets, superb Staffordshire and German doll
tea sets, and all manner of doll related
items from books to displays. Exceptional
examples of doll and children's furniture.
Rare Bliss dollhouse, game, doll
furniture.
Toys will include
a variety of rare tin wind-ups: Hubley,
Arcade, Kilgore, Wolverine, Marx, Chein,
Ohio Art, and other famous makers. Penny
toys and Cracker Jack items.
Salesman samples
and miniatures will include a huge
quality selection. Dozens of fine quality
old and original examples.
Snowbabies will
include a wonderful assortment of
mostly German antique examples.
General antiques
will include some fine country
stoneware bowls, miniature bowls, Roseville
pottery, Red Wing and Western examples,
yelloware, primitives, glassware, and
advertising items!
Antique furniture
will include the best selection of
quality oak we have ever had! Magnificent
oak three door bookcase with applied
carving, fancy oak drop front desk, 1800's
walnut plank table, 1800's pegged chairs,
fabulous oak sideboard, display cabinets
large and small.
Holiday items will
include a number of extremely rare
Halloween items, old Santas, a variety of
old postcards with Halloween or Santa
images, large feather tree with original
box, and much more.
